Disaster Preparedness LLC (parent company of Fortitude Ranch) operates a disaster threat watch system, monitoring over 50 “trigger” events that could lead to a collapse. We provide collapse threat warnings to Fortitude Ranch members and a few investor/hedge fund firms. With the launch next year of “Collapse Survival SimWarn” others will receive our warnings of developing situations that could lead to a collapse.
This App will also provide hyper-realistic, challenging Collapse Survival Simulations. Every week, we will release new scenarios that play out a months or year long simulation of a collapse disaster, run over a 6-day period, played simultaneously by users. The first day is simulated news of developing troubles, with users trying to figure out what disaster is coming, when it may start. Users enter data on their skills, preparations, where they will ride out a collapse, other information that is used in calculations on surviving the developing disaster (or not). When the disaster event starts, conditions worsen, and players are given opportunities to buy preparedness items. Users start getting prompts to make decisions like bugging out, going to stores to get more food/gas, taking risks to get more supplies. As the collapse commences, simulated time passes, marauder attacks and more challenges arise, including moral decisions (dealing with beggars). Most Collapse Survival SimWarn app user decisions must be made quickly with a timer deadline. Many users will die, notified with “we regret to inform you” messages if a long, severe collapse. By the end of the 6th day, you’ll be congratulated if still alive. On the 7th day, users receive a detailed report on the disaster, collapse, best practices, survival rates by people in different locations/preparedness situations. We believe this simultaneous play of a scenario will lead to lots of discussions, debates, and “viral” popularity for this educational, challenging, very realistic collapse survival simulation. The scenario now goes into the library, and can then be played individually, in 6 days or at a rapid pace.
