As a former intelligence officer, I can assure you that most intelligence information comes from “open sources”—media and podcasts, publicly accessible databases, open information sources. And tech billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg have especially great access to this intelligence. It is no surprise that Peter Thiel, Founder of Palantir Technologies, which specializes in big data analytics with big clients including intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense, is very well aware of the growing list of collapse threats, beyond the “Flashing Lights” that the FBI Director warned about last month. Thiel’s survival plan is to leave the United States, jetting to a private survival compound in New Zealand. Mark Zuckerberg has a Hawaii compound with huge underground bunkers.
2024 looks to many to be the year of a collapse: Iranian agents releasing a virus in the country or poisoning water supplies, Russia executing a cyber or bio or other form of attack on the U.S. and west Europe to cut off our support of Ukraine, or China exploiting the growing divisions in the U.S. and expected violence in our election this year (Civil War possible some fear) to invade Taiwan (which could lead to a small nuclear exchange with the U.S. that destroys our vulnerable electric grid). With the nation so divided and a weak President likely leaving at end of year, this is the ideal time to take out the “Great Satin” as Iran calls us. The preparations of the Tech Billionaires with their access to open source intelligence and awareness of the threats is a big warning.

Survey of Preppers on How a Collapse is Likely to Unfold
There is growing recognition that a collapse in 2024 is likely due to threats from Iran, Russia, China, North Korea, or a natural cause. We did a survey on collapse threats in the Fall, and the results were published in media like the Washington Examiner.
The vast majority of Americans refuse to think about a collapse (defined as economy not functioning, widespread loss of law and order), what is likely to happen, or what they would do. In particular, the possibility of people without food or water forming marauder groups to steal and if necessary, kill to obtain supplies and survive is overlooked. So in this survey we ask watchful Americans to estimate the likelihood of some of the following events occurring if a collapse disaster strikes this year.
